We’re seeking an experienced Sales Director/Managers to lead our technology and heat-as-a-service (HaaS) sales. You’ll drive our sales to different industrial segments that utilize heat in their processes. In this role, you influence strategic customer decisions and enable sustainable and economic value creation to our customers.

TheStorage is a Finnish cleantech startup enabling fossil-free industrial growth through scalable thermal energy storage solutions.
The company supports the transition to renewable energy by acting as an efficient energy buffer for industrial processes. Ordinary sand is heated using renewable electricity or grid power when prices are low. When energy is needed, the stored heat is released to power industrial processes, significantly reducing both costs and emissions.
What you'll do
You configure and sell energy storage systems as technology and service.
You scan and reach out to new potential customers.
You identify the high-potential projects and optimize the offered solution by discussing with customers and consulting internal and external partners.
You manage the sales process independently from initial contact through to contract stage, supported by project managers and other technical experts.
You follow the market developments and develop our energy services as part of our growing sales team.
As a director you drive sales strategy for Nordic and EU-wide growth.
What are we looking for
You bring several years of experience in industrial energy solutions and a strong B2B sales background.
You have a natural willingness to actively interact with customers, optimize the system configuration for best customer value, and the skill to discuss their technical details.
You have a relevant technical or commercial degree as well as an active, persistent, self-motivated, and service-oriented attitude.
Previous experience working with energy-as-a-service business models is considered an advantage.
Good teamwork skills and passion for contributing to a fast-growing team and a continuously evolving business.
